This document illustrates standard use of the DISCp4 Pro test by showing the steps a visitor must take.
Elodie Valdora* is a freelance graphic designer. She has heard about profil4.com from a friend and wants to determine her DISCp4 Pro behavioral and communication profile.
(*) names, companies and dates are fictitious and used by way of illustration only.
Preparing a test
To start with, Elodie uses the "Pro Test" menu.
NB: We can see on the top right that Elodie has not logged into her account (if she has one).
The first page is the home page for the test. It explains that this is neither an IQ nor a psychological test.
There are no right or wrong answers and the only thing at stake is the chance to learn more about yourself and improve your communication skills.
The page indicates the price of the test Elodie must pay since she has no code and is not logged in.
If Elodie has any credits, she must log in to use them.
If she has a code, she can enter it on the site’s home page.
The site needs a few details to prepare the test:
- The number of questions to include in the test. The more questions are included, the more precise (and longer) the test will be. A good compromise is to leave the default value of 35 questions;
- Her first name;
- Her last name;
- Her e-mail address;
- Her e-mail address again in case of error;
- Her gender, male or female;
- Her country;
- Her year of her birth;
- Her job;
- Her company.
She will also have to check the box next to "captcha", allowing us to check that she’s a real person, and accept our general conditions of use.
Payment if applicable
Elodie can now proceed with her payment. She can pay by credit card or by PayPal if she opens the corresponding menu.
NB: This step is unnecessary if Elodie has credits or a code.
Her details (card number, expiry date, CVC etc.) are sent only to our banking partner (Braintree by PayPal) via a secure connection.
They are not sent to Profil 4’s servers or stocked in our database.
Taking a test
The test is now ready. It is made up of 7 pages of 5 questions, i.e. 35 questions as chosen by Elodie (see above).
The test should take between 14 and 23 minutes. The site invites Elodie to spend less than thirty seconds on each question and to take the test in a quiet place, without stopping for any breaks and without doing anything else at the same time.
For each question, Elodie must choose the answer which corresponds best to her, and the one which corresponds the least, as well as the answers in-between.
She must check one box (and one only) per line AND per column, i.e. four boxes per question.
Let’s take a closer look:
Here is a sample answer indicating that Monday is your favorite day, followed by Tuesday, then Thursday and finally Wednesday:
Elodie must now answer another type of question (2 pages). There is only one proposition to choose for each question.
Let’s take a closer look:
Here is an example answer, indicating that it’s the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) that you prefer:
Elodie can now view her results. There are several complementary graphs and a few brief explanations. We also recommend reading our free documentation and/or taking a course.
Elodie will also receive an email with her results.
After logging in*, Elodie can review her results using the "My results" menu.
(*) If Elodie doesn’t have an account, she can set one up for free by following the standard procedure indicated in the .
Her results will automatically be associated to her new account.
The site lists the tests she has taken. Elodie can click on "View details" to see the details of each.
The details page is approximately the same as the one presented above.
If necessary, Elodie can of course view her invoice directly on our site. To do so, she can use the menu "My invoices".
The site lists all available invoices. Elodie can click on "Consult" to see the invoice of her choice.
The "Print" button allows her to print an invoice. She simply needs to choose "PDF" printing to save a given invoice in this format.
